My professor asked me and my classmates to read these three passages and annotate the text:
He wanted us to use the five sense in our scene. We needed to write in the first person, and to explain something that had happened to us in the last week. He wanted us to use lots of detail and explain what was going on. Driving along the busy long highway in my little Honda civic. I can still see the horrific moment that has happened. The feeling of not being able to stop is still lingering in my mind. It all happened on the day of September 12th, 2018 around 6:30 pm. I was on my way to Millers Ale House with a couple friends. Everything was going just fine. Jamming to the bumping music, and singing along with my friends having a great time. Then it happened… Traffic came to a complete stop so quickly i didn't have any time to really react to it. The speed went from forty-five miles per hour to zero in a matter of seconds. I couldn't stop fast enough so BAM!!!!! There I was, I had hit someone from behind!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes… I was so in shock to what had just happened. I wanted to cry my eyes out but I just couldn't. I was so nervous to who I had hit, and if everything was going to be okay. The moment the man got out of the car, I began to panic in fear that i had hurt them. The guy comes up to my car and asks for my information. We exchanged information, and went on our ways. When i saw my car i was so upset. My whole front end was beat up. I had pulled into a parking lot and just cried with anger. I was so so so so angry at myself. My friends parents came to the scene and basically fixed my front end the best as they could so i could continue to drive it. My car was still drive-able, but there was stuff wrong on the inside. I thought to myself. “How will i ever pay for these damages?” I began to think… “ oh wait, my uncle used to be a mechanic, He could look at it and maybe fix it.” So it was settled. I took it to him that night. He looked at it and said he could fix it but bring it by in the morning when theirs sunlight so i can actually take a good look at it. I went home that night with such anxiety thinking, I hope this isn't to pricey. I came back the next morning and he told me what i needed for it. We went to the junk yard and got everything I needed for it. Well this is where things got challenging. My uncle was having trouble fixing it because he didn't want to take the bumper off but eventually had to. Then the radiator wasn't coming out. And the cooling fan system was stuck. Two days went by and he had finally fixed my car. My little Honda civic is so so so ugly now. Lesson to learn by. PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THE ROAD, AND THIS WONT EVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!!

I see you have read our course update email and were able to complete this week's work. I am happy that amid last week's life events you were able to enact a productive process and make the deadline.

I have never been in a car accident but can imagine how scary it seems. I am glad you are okay though.
